Coronavirus and our classes

Abada Capoeira Melbourne

Coronavirus update:

As we are all aware, the current Coronavirus situation is causing a severe impact to our community and to the whole world, changing how we live our daily lives. The health, safety and well-being of your children and your families is of utmost importance to us.

In the last couple of days, the teachers of ABADA-Capoeira Australia did a thorough research on the documents released by the Government and Sports Authorities and we had extensive meetings with other ABADA-Capoeira schools worldwide to make the most informed and sensible decision about the future of our Capoeira classes with the focus on the safest way of keeping your children active and engaged while maintaining your family members healthy.

From this week on we will provide Capoeira classes online, streaming live videos packed with Capoeira drills that can be performed at home (in your lounge, bedroom, backyard, etc). We will use props such as cushions, toys, chairs and more.

Difficult times like this allow us to be more creative and use technology to our favour. This is a challenge to all of us.

We truly believe in the concept of community and the power we all have together. And together we will overcome this tough period of time. Capoeira has always offered tools to bring people/community together, especially in times of struggle. Capoeira helps individuals to achieve goals and improve all aspects of life, these being physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance.

We make ourselves available anytime for any questions you may have. Call us or send an email to get in touch. Let’s stay connected, more than ever.

Thank you for reading and hope to see you all very soon (online for now).

Stay Safe | Stay Strong | Stay Capoeira | Stay Connected

Kind regards,
ABADA-Capoeira Australia
